Tackling Groin Injuries with Clare Walsh

Groin injuries are extremely common in rugby, football and other sports that involve kicking or running (as well as the ever-popular synchronised swimming and pole dancing - apparently they are still considered by some to be sports). The groin can have a lot of pain generating structures and causes, including the adductors, iliopsoas, abdominals, obturator nerve, as well as your stress fractures and pubic symphysis instability. In this presentation, Clare Walsh, a Sports Physio who has worked with high profile teams including the Sydney Swans, looks at the causes, differential diagnosis and treatment of groin injuries, and getting your players back to sport.
