Tibialis Posterior Tendinopathy

Tibialis Posterior tendinopathy is an often under-recognised source of medial foot and ankle pain, presenting as a reactive tendinopathy in runners and sporting populations, and commonly as a dysrepair or degenerative tendinopathy in slightly older patients. In this video Foot and Ankle Physiotherapist Russell Wright helps us to identify tendinopathies and tenosynovitis, explores the anatomy and palpation of Tib Post and identifies the overloading factors causing the tendinopathy. Russell also goes indepth on differential diagnosis for this condition, objective assessment, strength and functional tests, gait and running styles.
